It's the weeeeekend!

Today was another nice flight, this time in the caravan. Awesome just flying along the green grass plains and swamps of the beautifull Okavango Delta.

Landing at Xigera airstrip and spending 30 min on the ground before the next movement was good for the soul. Out in the African bush and to witness the awesome wildlife and secenry just around the airtsrip was fantastic. Impala, Lechwe, Tsetsebe and Warthog just plodding along and do what they do; animaling around!

Today was my 90 day route check; during this check I fly with a training captain and he checks that I still fly the aircraft within company and manufacturer limitations and as per procedures. It all went well and I passed it! So, fine for another 90 days!

Well, as the title to todays blog says, It's the weekend! Time for friends and relaxing, but not until I finish one more training flight tomorrow morning!

Sitting at home watching Wimbledon semi-finals, tomorrow the Super 14, Super Rugby challenge between the Stormers and the Crusaders, I hope the Stormers pull this one off! Then Sunday is the Wimbledon Finals! So a weekend of sport and friends.

On this note, I wish you all a fantastic weekend.

Onwards!
